About Me

I grew up as an only child on my family’s farm. As both a 10th and 2nd generation American, we spoke English and Portuguese at home while my grandparents next door spoke Pennsylvania Dutch. We traveled often to explore the Americas and eventually Europe and it always fascinated me how people were living differently in every place we visited. Now as a mother of four, I want to teach my own kids to reach out and realize different perspectives as they discover themselves and who they want to be while I keep traveling to live my best life.
